My history with State Farm began at birth. By the time I was born, my father had a four year career as a State Farm agent. As a child, my parents and siblings knew I had a business sense and was likely to follow in my father's footsteps. As I grew up in Glenview, IL, I continued to hone my skills in building relationships through various activities and community involvement. I continued my education by attending the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing.

My career began with State Farm in 1999 after I graduated from college where I worked for a local State Farm agent in Champaign. Joe Stovall taught me how to really engage customers to effectively meet their needs. After a few years there, I was given the opportunity to manage my father's agency. I learned the ins and outs of how to properly run the business. My father taught me in word and by example what it means to serve his customers cheerfully and unselfishly. My mother showed me every day of her life the value of a servant's heart and sacrificial love. The many amazing coaches and leaders at State Farm have taught me how to optimize my skills and utilize the company's many resources to serve customer needs and offer remarkable service. I take all of these valuable lessons with me to my agency.

In June of 2022, I was honored to sing the national anthem at the State Farm 100th anniversary business session with two fellow agents. It was an amazing opportunity to sing for my country among so many agents and executives present. I also had the opportunity to meet Jake. Check out my social media for pictures of this epic event.
